Holiday Photography Day 1

Here are my photo's for Noell's Holiday Photography day 1 class also I will be using them for Ali's December Daily. I don't usually put up a tree beings we don't have any kids or grandchildren around. See we always go to my son's for Christmas and he leaves 70 miles away so it's not like the gk's are gonna be bopping in.
But this year Joe said we should at least put up a tree and beings I needed a photo of a tree ornament for Noell's class I put it up today. Normally if I was putting up a tree it would not go up till a couple weeks before Christmas.
Course the trees are out of order they are suppose to be before and after but now they are after and before.. Ooops I see I forgot to take the animal proof covers off the couch, they are really big black sheets and fits my needs perfectly for dog and cat proofing.
You can see I also did a lot of decorating of the tree (hee hee). Tree decorating has never been fun for me I would much rather put it away than decorate, don't know why guess I am just funny that way.
I didn't know the cat (Puddin) was under the tree when I took this shot.
The first ornament was taken using only my mico setting on my carmera and the second one was trying to use my aperture settings ISO at 800 and as you can see the micro came out so much better.
Tomorrow I hope to post the cards I am doing for Chris who is sending them to a hospital in her area of NC. Her blog is www.turnedgypsy.blogspot.com in case you would like to go over and donate or just follow her.

Rec. Image

Well, I received my Image today and didn't expect it till the 23rd. I was so excited to open and get started but it doesn't want to calibrate the cutting blade. I mite messy with it some more tomorrow but will probably have to call Pro Craft Monday. Anyhoo I did take a film while opening and I will try to post tomorrow also.
Been a long time since I posted but I seen on this one blog where she committed to making I lo a day from her cartridges (so that she would be sure and use them) that I am going to commit to that myself. I will make a card or LO.

MyPinkStamper NSD Challenge #2

For National Scrapbook Day "My Pink Stamper" is having challenges each hour. This hour was to use some of your scraps.
I love using up scraps but also because they are scraps I can not tell you what papers I used. I can say I was able to reduce my supply by about 3, but that is 3 used and not still waiting there.
I did this card first because it was going to be so simple and my hubby is home today and I need to spend some time with him.
Cricut Cartradiges :
Paper Pups page 92 & 102

30% savings

The other day my friend and I went shopping of course we hit all the scrapbook stores. I found this stamp at Michaels and it was 30% off, so what can you do, I mean I am saving 30% TIME TO BUY!
When I get home I proceeded to remove the wood block so I could put the cling on it and use it with my acrylix block. I set it on my work space and went about going thru papers and stuff and when I finally found the cling sheets NOW THE BLOCK IS MISSING! I figure it is stuck on the back of something and hopefully someday it will show up but so much for that 30% savings.

Birthday Card

I have been in kind of a funky mood the last couple days so I spent yeasterday and today making cards. It really does make you feel better when you are doing something you like to do, it got me out of that mood.and I have added to my stach of cards.
Here is a sweet birthday card, I used "Just Because Cards" at 5 1/2 on page 46 for the base.
The cherries are from "Hello Kitty Greetings", I glimmer misted the front of the card so it does have a shine even
tho you probably can't see it, a scrape of paper for the side and "Close to My Heart" ribbon and sentiment, don't remember where I got the frame I have had it awhile but they are on lots of cartridges.

Easter Box

So here are the pic's of the Easter box I made for our granddaughter. It is non traditional but I know she like it a lot.

I used Cricut cartridge Tags, Bags, Boxes and More for the box and Accent Essentials to cut out the windows. You can't tell but the box I sprayed with Glimmer Mist so it has that sparkle, the ribbon is from Close to My Heart and the rather large flower is from Imaginisce, money from Uncle Sam.

30 Day Book

I am a member of the "PaperClippin" blog and Noell has a live web cast on Tues. nites at 8:30 on UStream.
In Dec she challenged us to do a book on the 30 days of Dec. this is my book. Now I will tell ya it is hard to find pictures for 30 days in a row to show your life and what you do. I don't work so I pretty much do the same thing every day. I lead such an exciting life, I even show the puter screen of her program I watch.

Waiting her turn

I think this is so funny, this is where the chickens go to lay their eggs. This was were I kept the baby chicks and in the big chicken pen is a place for them to lay eggs but they like it here better. But when this white one needs to lay her egg and somebody is already on the POT she will stand there and stare in and prance around  like she is trying to tell them to hurry up.

My Pink Stamper Gallery

I am happy dancing, I ck'd my email's late last nite and found a email from Robyn. I had sent a submission in for her search for designers. Well I did not make that but she requested that I send in my card for her gallery.
Now I need to get busy and get instructions and pic sent, I really am thrilled.

Chickens on the roof

These are some of my Rhoad Island Red chickens on top of the chicken coop that Joe built. The coop isen't quite like what I had in mind but it did serve its purpose at the time. I don't know if they think they are sunbathing or just trying to get a different perspective of their surroundings. The white flap on the back is a piece of plastic that I stapled to the roof and then tied to the fence one day because there were a lot of large birds flying around and I didn't know if they were hawks or what and I wanted to give them a little more shelter to hid under. Of course that was a previous day or they wouldn't be strutting around on top in such plain view. I recommend chicken to any one they are a lot of fun.

Just another day

Another day spent not getting to much done. I did vacuum tho and finally finished a lay out. I tried and tried to put a blinky from "House of 3" on my blog but can not figure it out. I am working on a cute little box for granddaughter for Easter. It's just a small box I made on the Gypsy and cut window's into 2 sides. Anyhoo I thought it would be cute to instead of putting candy in it put money in it instead (had to make sure it was a small box) will post results when I get it finished (hopefully before Easter).
You know how cats will sleep anywhere, well Punk surprised me one day when I was washing clothes and had the hamper pretty empty and found him inside it, how he got in there without tipping it over I will never know.
